Any member wishing to share their photographs with the rest of the world please copy them to a CD/DVD or USB memory stick and hand it to Malcolm Lee or another committee member at the next meeting. Alternately send them to the Webmaster

Photo Competition

Every January SHHAS hold a Photo Competition where members are encouraged to bring along their best aviation photos taken over the previous 12 months.

The categories are:

Best Civil - Flying

Best Civil - Static

Best Military - Flying

Best Military - Static

Most Humorous - Amusing pictures with a suitable caption

These categories are judged by members on the evening and in addition the Chairman also awards the "Chairmans Choice"

Each category has a trophy, to be retained by the winner for twelve months.

Even the simplest digital cameras produce good quality images so don't think you need the latest in camera technology to make a winning photograph.

If you wish to enter, the pictures should be prints no bigger than 7"x 5" (colour or monochrome) and can be taken on film or digital equipment.
